Ingredients

Ground beef
1 lb
Medium onion, chopped

Garlic cloves, chopped

Tomato paste
1 tbsp
Marinara sauce
1 jar (24 oz)
Chicken broth (bone broth or regular)
6–8 cups
Lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
8–10
Italian seasoning
1 tsp
Red chili flakes (or to taste)
½ tsp
Salt
to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Season lightly with salt.

  2. Add the chopped onion and cook until soft, about 3–4 minutes.

  3. Stir in the garlic and tomato paste; cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

  4. Add marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, red chili flakes, and broth. Stir well.

  5. Bring to a gentle boil, then add broken lasagna noodles.

  6. Reduce heat and simmer until noodles are tender, about 10–15 minutes.

  7. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and chili flakes.

  8. Serve hot and top with the ricotta, parmesan, and fresh mozzarella mixture.
